Established in 2019, Bed & Breakfast ‘t Doktershuuske is located in a former doctor’s practice. The then practice owner – Mr Vrijman – also lived at this location, in the adjacent residential house.
Many Goren residents have memories of the eccentric ‘Doctor Vrijman’ and everything that happened in the former practice. We regularly hear these stories when we tell people about our B&B.
The former waiting room and pharmacy have been converted into the current country-style Bed & Breakfast space, which is equipped with all modern conveniences, including a luxurious en-suite bathroom.

Who are the people behind ‘t Doktershuuske?
Since September 2022, Maren, Sebastiaan and Hidde acquired the premises at Iependijk 2 in Goor, including the beautiful B&B ‘t Doktershuuske. This location was realised by the previous residents, and continued by us.
Maren and Sebastiaan run this small-scale B&B alongside their regular jobs. Maren is a Nurse Examiner and District Nurse, and Sebastiaan is a Merger & Acquisition Advisor.
They do not do this alone, they are enthusiastically supported by Maren’s mother and grandmother; how special to do this with three generations?!
